Position Summary:
Schneider Electric's Energy Savings Performance Contracting (ESPC) business is seeking a Communications Manager to support its rapidly growing U.S. operations. Clients include federal, state, county and city governments, K-12 school districts and higher education institutions.

The Communications Manager position is an exciting hybrid role supporting both internal and external initiatives designed to drive innovation and engagement across the business. Working collaboratively with senior executives, human resources, and other department heads, the Communications Manager will develop and execute an internal communications plan to inform, engage and inspire employees. This role will also support offer launches and lead sales enablement initiatives designed to make our staff more efficient and effective. This role requires confidence and skill to partner with executives to turn their vision into compelling internal and external content that showcases performance, makes the complex simple, and promotes our brand and culture. The right person for this role is highly strategic about messaging, timing, and communications channels; and is a great collaborator with the ability to secure feedback, commitment, and cooperation from others at all levels of the business.

Position Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute annual internal communications plan
  • Develop dynamic PowerPoint presentations, speeches, videos, and written communications for executives
  • Plan and manage internal meetings (in-person and virtual) including logistics, presentations, vendors, and employee communications
  • Plan, manage, and develop content for offer launches and sales and marketing trainings
  • Develop and manage sales enablement platforms and processes designed to make sales staff more efficient and effective, as well as drive adoption through change management tactics
  • Develop marketing collateral, including client slides, case studies and flyers
  • Manage day-to-day operations including employee database, business intranet, invoice processing, vendor contracts, and performance tracking

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or marketing
  • 5 years of B2B marketing or communications experience, preferably with a technical, consulting, or financial services company
  • Proven experience with internal communications working directly with senior executives
  • Strong project management and event planning skills
  • Experience with offer launches a plus
  • Experience managing and/or developing content for a company intranet a plus
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams)
  • Familiarity with Adobe Premier, SharePoint, WebEx and Canva a plus
  • Personal qualities: self-driven, confident, perseverant, reliable, direct, detail oriented, curious, and creative
  • Writing and work samples must be provided
