As part of the Global Supply Chain organization, the Logistics Program Manager, Business Continuity will lead and support all elements of global Deliver (Logistics, Distribution, and Network Design). You will engage various Supply Chain functions to develop, maintain, and improve business recovery plans and incident management processes and procedures related to transportation. You will identify and evaluate threats that could disrupt critical supply chain areas and effectively plan for continuity during a disruption. In addition, you will support a cross-functional crisis management team to respond and recover from disruptive events as quickly as possible. This requires a natural curiosity, strong relationship building, and an ability to communicate while under pressure.

A Day in the Life

You will:


  • Build resiliency into global transportation and distribution functions
  • Provide operational business impact analysis to key business activities
  • Conduct risk assessments for key transportation and distribution activities
  • Maintain global Deliver Business Continuity Playbook
  • Partner with transportation carriers and 3PL partners to identify and mitigate risks
  • Conduct continuity exercises to test and validate recovery plans
  • Review and update existing business continuity policies and practices
  • Communicate program goals, challenges, and priorities across the business to gain the right level of participation and input from key areas
  • Lead the response to disruptive incidents in accordance with recovery management program
  • Maintain global risk calendar, align with Regions and Operating Networks to mitigate risks
  • Communicate effectively to ensure stakeholder alignment
  • Capacity to provide off-hour incident management support
  • Assist critical sites to put into place best practices around business continuity processes and procedures
  • Participate in functional design and implementation of business continuity management tools and related systems

Must Have: Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

Nice to Have

  • Experience with EverStream Analytics, Resilience 360 or equivalent analytical tools
  • Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or equivalent
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with business leaders and external partners
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Discretion with confidential or sensitive information
  • Capable of multitasking and working with changing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence within a matrixed organization with complex supply chains
  • Experience in effectively researching and interpreting technical regulatory texts
  • Ability to comprehend complex regulatory/technical texts and interpret potential impact on operations
  • Working knowledge of US and International dangerous goods regulations
  • Previous experience in supply chain operations/management
  • Master's in Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent
