Job Description:

We’re looking for a Terminal Manager to drive our success at our Baltimore, MD terminal! As a Terminal Manager, you are the backbone of our trucking operations and the lynchpin between our fleet of owner-operators (truck drivers) and our customers.

Your typical day looks like:


  • Provide leadership for the Fleet Manager, Customer Success and Operations team members located at your terminal.

  • Work hand in hand with our Recruiters and Driver Experience team on owner operator acquisition and retention strategies

  • Develop new business

  • Grow and expand opportunities with our current customer base through relationship building with key account decision makers

  • Coaching and facilitating excellent communication and teamwork amongst Customer Service, Fleet and Operations Management

The ideal candidate will possess:


  • Alignment with ContainerPort Group’s purpose, brand promise and core values.

  • 5 years management experience in the intermodal transportation industry

  • 3 years Managing an owner-operator based fleet

  • Outstanding service performance, leadership, customer satisfaction and owner-operator recruiting skills are a must

  • A high degree of integrity and initiative

  • Excellent management, communication, relationship building and networking skills

  • Strong and proven Operations background

  • Computer skills are critical and must include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • College degree in Business, Logistics or related field is preferred
