Overview

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for handling inventory in the warehouse and cycle counts. The Warehouse Associate operates material handling equipment to stock shelves, retrieves stock to fulfill orders, and maintains computer records of all activities. The Warehouse Associate also acts as a back-up driver for local deliveries as needed.

Responsibilities

- Pull raw material inventory in order to fill production material requisitions.
- Receive and process raw materials per work orders.
- Stock raw material inventory.
- Perform cycle counts.
- Maintain correct and accurate inventory.
- Visually inspect products for defects.
- Provide legible and accurate documentation.
- Read, comprehend and follow product specifications and instructions.
- Count and make simple arithmetic additions and subtractions.
- Record receipt of incoming goods on computer.
- Check packing list for accuracy, inspect goods, and place materials in designated storage location of warehouse.
- Operate all types of material handling equipment, including handtrucks, pallet jacks, standard forklifts, and order-picker forklifts as appropriate for particular materials to be moved and maintain certification.
- Record location of goods on computer.
- Must maintain all training requirements for the position, while seeking out opportunities for continuous development and growth.
- Adhere to the Quality Management System and its processes to meet FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and other applicable regulatory requirements.

- Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization.
- Must strictly adhere to safety requirements.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Must maintain company quality and quantity standards.
- Must have effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative and independent work situations and environments with
minimal supervision.
- Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Previous experience operating a forklift preferred.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and a For-Hire endorsement preferred.
- Computer proficiency sufficient to record receipt and stocking of merchandise and removal of inventory to fill requisitions and orders.
