The Market Sales Executive is responsible for sales, service and support of their assigned dealer base. The MSE builds and grows relationships by providing best-in-class customer service levels. They effectively manage their dealer base to produce profitable, quality loan originations and are responsible for addressing and resolving dealer issues in a professional manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:




  • Proactively works in tandem with bank’s Market Development and Funding teams to develop, grow and maintain profitable dealer partnerships.


  • In conjunction with Market Development team, participates in the development and execution of the sales strategy for assigned territory.


  • Meets or communicates with automotive dealers on a regular basis to develop new business and cultivate solid business relationships.


  • Presents dealers with the Bank's program of indirect non-prime auto financing and supports any dealer training or development requirements.


  • Responsible for oversight and management of assigned dealer relationships to ensure profitability, acceptable portfolio performance and achievement of sales goals.


  • Identifies high potential sales prospects utilizing personal knowledge and company provided market information.


  • Prepares and develops sales material required to educate and train dealers on the benefits of Crescent's program.


  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of competitive programs within assigned territory.


  • Develops relationships with all members of dealership management teams, including General Managers and owners.


  • Resolves dealer issues such as monies owed, buybacks, fraud situations, misrepresentations, poor application efficiencies and portfolio performance.


  • Works daily with Market Development and Funding teams to keep each other informed of changes, issues, opportunities and examples of success for assigned dealer base.


  • Utilizes Jericho CRM to provide complete and informative date in the following areas: sales calls, dealer performance, competitive intelligence and personal performance.


  • Keeps senior leadership team apprised of any major issues and opportunities.


 



Position Requirements:




  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; with 5-7 years related banking/lending experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated sales success.


  • Ability to effectively work in a team oriented environment to achieve shared sales goals.


  • Ability to work under pressure in fast paced environment while providing service to our external dealer customers and internal bank staff.


  • Ability to carry out written and oral instructions applicable to bank policies & procedures as well as Federal Bank Regulations.


  • In-depth knowledge of sales, credit and funding processes in consumer finance and indirect automotive lending.


  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.


  • Presentation skills to individuals and groups.


  • Knowledge of effective sales techniques (SRG - Sales Readiness Group).


  • Significant travel and overtime required in order to meet sales goals and service assigned dealer base.


  • Ability to influence and persuade others.


  • Proficient in the use of personal computers and applications, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.


  • Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
