POSITION OVERVIEW:

dormakaba is seeking a Product Manager for access control software at our Indianapolis location. As a Product Manager for access control software, you will be responsible for all aspects of this portfolio. This includes but is not limited to the following; End user and channel research to understand the needs of our customers.Translating those needs to development requirements for our engineering teams. Launching new offerings to our channel partners and end users through partnership with our commercialization support teams.

PRIMARY DUTIES


  • Through market research, with internal and external customers, develop a product roadmap for the access control software platform

  • Works with the cross functional teams, (technical, marketing, finance, sales, etc) to align resources to the product roadmap

  • Acts as Product Owner for the development of access control software solutions

  • Monitors industry and customer trends in for access control solutions

  • Explores new market concepts in adjacent markets for potential high-revenue applications

  • Reviews feature requests from business development, sales, and other product managers to translate into prioritized, actionable requirements for the development team

  • Manages product backlog and help to prioritize development work

  • Authors user stories, requirements, and other documentation as required

  • Reports on development progress regularly to business stakeholders

  • Understands features, functions, and technical architecture of pertinent Dormakaba products and technology

REQUIREMENTS


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

  • 3 to 5 years in a Talent Acquisition Partner or a Human Resources Business Partner with heavy recruiting experience

  • Strong organization and prioritization skills with ability to be agile in a fast-paced dynamic environment

  • Interest and ability to work in a agile environment

  • Experience using a variety of talent attraction methods and tools: job boards, social media, open web sourcing, career fairs and campus recruitment, etc

  • Previous experience with an applicant tracking system
