This position involves developing and implementing advanced techniques for measuring and modeling human performance and learning in high-stakes environments. Advance techniques involve the fusion of disparate, multi-modal human signals such as physiological data, human-computer interface data, communication data, observer data, and self-report data using a variety of machine learning approaches. The position involves contributing to the design, development, and application of data mining, statistical analysis, machine learning, and modeling.
This position will be mentored by senior scientist and engineers and offers an excellent opportunity to expand your career knowledge and gain valuable experience solving complex human performance problems while working in a leading-edge Research and Development environment.
What You'll Need
Familiar with machine learning approaches.
Familiar with signal analysis approaches.
Familiar with systems theory, systems dynamics, dynamical systems
Familiar with software development best practices and user experiences.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Ability to work well in a multi-disciplinary team environment and to learn rapidly via formal and informal training and instruction.
Ability to work independently on ambiguous technical challenges.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, which will be examined by during the interview process as well as providing examples such as written work samples
Minimum Requirements
US Citizen
Have at least 3 year(s) of progress toward a BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Human Factors Engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge of tools such as: Python, R, MATLAB, Tensor Flow, PyTorch, scikit, SQL, ElasticSearch
