We encourage curiosity and critical thinking, we embrace wellbeing in its broadest sense and we provide coaching and inspiration at every step of your career journey.

You have strong technical aptitude and possess consulting and project management skills including organization, goal setting, systems, and clear communication skills. You'll perform the following tasks:

  • Reviews & monitors ongoing compliance, certification and/or sustainability activities for assigned PD&L projects.
  • Ensures proper communication to affected internal and external customers.
  • Evaluates specific impact of pending sustainability requirements on Steelcase processes and operations and/or on Steelcase purchase parts and products.
  • Creates required compliance and/or sustainability documentation, reports, applications, etc. under the direction of the immediate supervisor and ensures that records are current & accessible.

You like working in/with teams, and you manage your work to get results in agreed upon timelines. Technical data does not frighten you; rather you see data as means to define, measure and achieve sustainability and business objectives. You are a problem-solver and have the ability to see how today's work impacts the "big picture". You are equally comfortable with speaking to groups or in one-on-one engagements. You are capable with spreadsheets, Share Point, and other document/data management environments.

Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree (BA or BS), preferably in a related business or technical field
  • Minimum of three to five years of work experience on technical sustainability issues
