We are currently recruiting for a full-time entry-level Payment Research Clerk!

Location: Conshohocken, PA

Starting Salary: $12 per hour

Hours: Full-time dayshift hours Monday-Friday

Currently this position will be remote; however, once it is safe to do so you will be required to work in the Conshohocken Office, PA office a few days a week.

Responsibilities

Run reports weekly for all assigned clients and obtain the required information to resolve them in a timely manner.
• Research in our systems to find the EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) for the held payments.


• Call the insurance companies to obtain copies of EOBs for held payments.


• Communicate via mail and email to insurance companies and other businesses in order to get information about held payments.


• Download EOBs from multiple insurance and clearinghouse websites.


• Create a document number for each EOB pulled online or received via email/fax.


• Document all work done in our system and on daily and weekly spreadsheets.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).


• At least one year of customer service experience, preferred.


• Math skills (ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages).


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Healthcare billing insurance terminology knowledge preferred (i.e. ability to read EOB's , EOP's and remits).


• Knowledge of PC Applications; specifically, Outlook, Word, and Excel


• Must have a stable past work history.


• Past experience working in an office setting preferred..
