The successful candidate will perform manual and fixture assisted device assembly and packaging on medical device components, and also perform label application onto packaging constructs. This position is hiring for First and Second Shift
As of July 1st, Arthrex increased its starting wage to $15.00 per hour. This position will start at $15.00 per hour plus an additional $1.50 shift differential for second shift.
We are also offering a $750.00 retention bonus (minus appropriate tax withholdings), which will be paid out to you after completing your first 90 days and are an employee in good standing. New opportunities are available as the manufacturing team is growing in Ave Maria, FL.
Main Objective:
To assemble, label and package medical devices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Education and Experience:
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
Comprehension is required to perform the following operations / tasks; the occasional operation of the label dispenser machine, heat sealers, weighing scale, crimping machine, arbor press, tygon tube cutter, wire cutter, small hand tools, fixtures and any clean room specific equipment as trained and assigned.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.
Language and Communication Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
Physical Demands:
- Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If Walk/Stand/Push/Pull of Arm/Leg Controls is frequent or if Push/Pull or Arm/Leg Controls while seated is constant. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work.
Vision Requirements:
Visual acuity necessary to do the job safely and effectively.
