LMI currently has an opportunity for an Editorial Production and Dissemination Specialist to support an Intelligence Community customer in the northern Virginia area.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will serve in a full-time client facing role as an Editorial Production and Dissemination Specialist for an Intelligence Community (IC) client proof-reading and copy-editing content, coordinating with analysts, graphic designers, and content managers; and adjusting project schedules based on changing mission and customer requirements.

Will provide strong substantive and technical editing support.
• Provide a critical, constructive review of presentation to ensure effective communication of material content and structure in manner consistent with IC standards.


• Will be responsible for editing of documents and multimedia elements in multiple formats (Word, PDF, HTML, etc.).


• Will work directly with the customer and support editorial and production workflows from specific task through broader recommendations regarding editorial and production business processes.

Work hours required are standard office hours, Monday thru Friday.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• BS degree and 3+ years of related experience.


• Must have editorial experience with excellent knowledge of correct English usage, spelling, and punctuation.


• Demonstrated excellent copy-editing and proofreading skills.


• Digital publishing applications experience to include, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Adobe Acrobat Professional, HyperSnap, and others as needed.

Desired Qualifications:

• OSE stylist guide familiarity


• Familiarity with Security Classification Guides (SCGs) and Classification Management Tool (CMT) and general EDT and FDT publication requirements.
  

Must have a TS/SCI level clearance with Polygraph.
