Develops and implements energy, environmental and sustainable development activates in the Lamb-Weston platform. Ensures compliance with corporate, local, state and federal requirements. Collaboratively empowers and supports operating facilities with strategic, tactical and technical support relating to environmental performance and sustainable development, including energy cost and use reduction. Interacts with energy providers to maximize site strategic value through least cost methods of supply. Monitors and coordinates support of appropriate state and local legislation, rulemaking, policy development and guidelines applicable to sustainability of our business in the environmental and energy arenas.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Sciences(Engineering, Biology or Chemistry)
Masters in Engineering or Science preferred
Licensed Professional Engineer preferred
6 - 12 years progressive experience in the environmental/engineering field
Expert knowledge of all environmental regulations and their impact on the food industry
Good leadership skills
Good presentation skills
Experience with acquisitions/divestitures
Experience with developing engineering scope for new equipment to fulfill compliance needs
Equipment Operation Expert knowledgeable of operational practices for environmental control systems on water supply, wastewater, air pollution and solid waste. Provide expertise to plant operators to successfully manage and operate equipment to meet permit requirements. Understanding of food processing sanitation and quality control needs in manufacturing consumer food products.
Physical Demands Ability to work in office environment, manufacturing operations and environmental control systems. Ability to represent Lamb Weston onenvironmental matters to outside stakeholders. Position will require ability to travel as needed to fulfill responsibilities. Annual travel may range up to25%.
