We are looking for a talented Accounts Receivable Team Lead to join our team specializing in Finance for our Cummins Business Services Unit in Nashville, TN / your remote home office.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Supervising a group of accounts receivable clerks within the established accounting policies of the corporation.


• Monitoring the collection process and negotiations with past due accounts.


• Preparing reports on receivables, receipts, and account balances.


• Recommending changes in methods and procedures to improve the efficiency of the Accounts Receivable unit.


• Coaching and mentoring accounts receivable clerks by; assigning work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs; assessing performance and providing feedback to direct reports.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Bachelor’s equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field


• 5+ years intermediate level of relevant professional work experience in the field of study required, 2+ years of supervisory experience.


• Ability to use many different software packages.


• Ability to analyze reporting to drive results.


• Ability to build strong relationships with the internal customer base.
