Role: Senior Data Engineer

Practice - AIA - Artificial Intelligence and Analytics

About AI & Analytics: Artificial intelligence (AI) and the data it collects and analyzes will soon sit at the core of all intelligent, human-centric businesses. Role/Required Qualifications:


  • Design and develop containerized microservices for cloud native applications using Spring framework

  • Automated build, deployment and configuration with Jenkins, Maven, Fortify, Blackduck, Jacoco

  • Use PCF Services such as App Autoscaler, Circuit Breaker, Config Server, Service Registry, HealthCheck

  • Act as the subject matter expert for Spring, J2EE, microservices design

  • Work across IT teams to ensure code quality, performance and scalability of deployed data products

  • Develop & review technical documentation for artifacts delivered

  • Guide and mentor junior API developers

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (such as Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Econometrics) with minimum 5 years of professional Java development experience Or in lieu of Degree, a High School Diploma/GED and 7 years of professional development (Java/J2EE) experience


  • Minimum 5 years of in-depth experience in design, and development using J2EE/Eclipse, Spring Boot, HTTP server in complex large-scale environments

  • Minimum 2 year of experience using in memory data grid technology such as Gemfire, Gridgain, Hazelcast or other similar technologies

  • Minimum 2 year of experience integration with streaming platforms such as Confluent Kafka or traditional middleware platforms such as IBM WebSphere, Tibco, Oracle ESB Minimum 2 year of experience integration with Hadoop/Hive, MySQL and HBase/Cassandra/NoSQL data stores
