Position Summary
 

An RDC/CSC Administrative Assistant in Aurora, IL will entail the performance of diversified secretarial and clerical duties for the department while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. 


  • Receive incoming calls and distribute to appropriate department or associate

  • Maintain files, retrieving information as required

  • Prepare and track UPS mail for delivery

  • Maintain office equipment such as postage meter, fax machine and desktop printer

  • Act as the Facilities Management liaison

  • Compose and type correspondence, reports and presentations, with appropriate follow-up to ensure timeliness and accuracy

  • Order and maintain office supplies

  • Log customer support calls in resolve for processing

  • Forward customer invoices for coding, processing and payment

  • Coordinate and arrange meetings, prepare agendas, reserve and prepare facilities, and record and transcribe minutes of meetings

  • Special project support as assigned

  • Other duties may be assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities
 

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.


 
Travel
 
Travel is not required.

Education
 

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


 
Required Skills


  • Ability to operate basic internet software and MS Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Strong verbal communications skills, especially over the phone

  • Demonstrated attention to detail

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Ability and desire to work collaboratively in a team environment

Required Experience


  •  1-2 years related administrative support experience
