Job Description:


The Legal Coordinator, Service of Process will be responsible for administrative support for the processing of subpoenas and service of process documents enterprise-wide.


  • Open new matters in matter management system (TeamConnect) or other designated system to be determined by your direct Supervisor.
  • Upload and/or import subpoena or other service of process documents.
  • Request documents from internal and external groups which are required to support the subpoena and/or service of process request .
  • Assist assembling raw data and other materials in discovery requests as needed.
  • Prepare letters in response to subpoenas from Company approved templates or as requested by a direct Supervisor.
  • Provide administrative support, including but not limited to: emailing, faxing, scanning, copying and shipping documents, sending and receiving correspondence, and answering phone calls.
  • Review, track and process subpoenas and other incoming service of process documents.
  • Work in designated matter management systems to track incoming subpoenas, update as needed, and provide administrative support to the attorneys and paralegals that process subpoenas or other service of process documents.
  • Calendar response deadlines in Microsoft Outlook to ensure deadlines are not missed.
  • Send reminders to internal teams to ensure documents are timely compiled.
  • Bate stamp and remove all personal identifiable information (PII).
  • Answer multiple calls throughout the day to ensure the Company is providing proper information.
  • Run weekly to reports to ensure that all subpoenas and matter are being processed accordingly.
  • Attend weekly meetings with direct Supervisor to review all open matters.


  • High School Diploma (minimum) or GED.
  • Should have at least three (3) years of law firm/legal office experience.


  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
  • Must possess good mathematical skills and clerical aptitude, including the operation of office equipment such as a computer, copier, scanner, fax machine and ten-key adding machine.
  • Must have strong prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including email communications).
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel, Outlook and working knowledge of database computer software systems, such as Microsoft Office 365; knowledge of matter management systems is a plus.
