The Micra franchise, part of the Cardiac Pacing Therapies business, is one of the fastest-growing segments in CRM (Cardiac Rhythm Management). As the world's smallest and only leadless pacemaker, it is a top priority for Medtronic. The Micra commercial marketing team is seeking a Sr Global Product Manager to lead the next generation Micra launch. You will play a pivotal role in setting the strategy and executing a global launch focused on therapy development, market and share growth and competitive preparations. Additionally, you will be the primary liaison to the EMEA and Canada regions - ensuring that business strategy and resources are aligned.

A Day in the Life
•Lead new product launch planning and flawless execution of global tactics and communication
•Lead creation and execution of a bold, global marketing strategy - including pricing, messaging, positioning, competitive analysis, post-market clinical planning, education, field and customer engagement
•Initiate market research to assist in marketing strategy development
•Represent marketing on the Micra core team, leading phases 5-7 of the Product Development Process
•Lead a large global cross-functional launch team in preparation for market release
•Partner with operations and supply chain to develop Phase-In / Phase-Out Plan (PIPO)
•Identify innovative methods to improve marketing strategies and processes to drive loyalty and adoption of a premium product in multiple geographies
•Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders; identify and lead customer engagement activities, seeking input on go-to-market strategy
•Develop strong relationships and work closely with the Micra and CRM U.S. field organizations to prepare for launch
•Present strategies and rationale to senior leadership, facilitate open and active dialog among internal stakeholders and drive alignment.
•Deliver quarterly business reviews, identify market trends, and recommend strategies
•Participate in regular business strategy, planning and performance reviews with the OU-Led Regions, driving alignment in business plans and leveraging resources and tools to support business goals
•Ability to travel up to 20-30%.
Must Have (Minimum Requirements):
•7+ years of marketing, sales or technical experience in healthcare, medical device, or pharma (5+ years with Advanced Degree)
•Commercial Marketing experience
•Project or Program Management experience
•Experience leading cross-functional teams
Nice to Have:
•Cardiac Rhythm Management product launch experience or product management experience
•Demonstrated ability to understand market nuances in a global setting
•Previous experience at Medtronic and/or on a Medtronic core team
•Analytical and quantitative experience
•Strong relationship building experience with physicians, staff, field sales organizations, and internal partners
•Strong influence skills and experience selling to various levels of leadership
