As the Senior Business Process Program Manager, you will play a critical role within Medtronic's Americas Supply Chain organization. You will lead large and complex supply chain programs and transformation initiatives. You will have proven track record of successfully managing very large programs using program management tools. You will will interact with various functions within Americas region as well as Medtronic Operating Units, Enterprise Operations and global cross functional teams and leaders, to enable execution programs while communicating risks and managing dependencies utlilizing exceptional comprehensive communication skills and will be able to effectively navigate strategic and tactical communication

A Day in the Life

  • Manage very large programs that are likely to have investment and savings commitments of multi-million dollars for Americas Supply Chain organization
  • Design and operationalize operating mechanisms for programs that enable effective flow of information between team members of a large matrixed team as well as to multiple leaves of program leadership and steering committee
  • Create robust schedules for multiple projects under a program and establish critical path as well as milestones
  • Develop clear understanding of program financials and maintain, track and communicate spend, savings and variances in a meaningful and actionable manner
  • Have exceptional comprehensive communication skills and is able to succinctly package complex program information to drive executive level decision making. The candidate should also be able to clearly communicate the program vision to the team members to keep progress on track while effectively and actively mitigating or escalating risks as appropriate
  • Have an ability to easily flex between disparate programs between functions of the organization
  • Maintain an end-to-end perspective as well as connect the dots across the matrixed functions as well as overall strategic direction of the organization
  • Lead and/or support improvisation of PMO operating system and program governance mechanisms

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 7 years of experience in fields of Operations, Supply Chain, Supply Management, or Manufacturing
  • Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time
  • Experience working with warehouse/distribution transformation projects
  • Experience working with 3rd partly logistics providers
  • Project Management experience
  • Ability to lead, energize and influence change efforts at all levels of a complex organization
  • Hands-on experience managing Cross Functional Projects
  • Experienced in Site Transfers; preferably with significant experience in Distribution and Supply Chain areas.
  • Desirable certifications / training in: Continuous Improvement, Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt Certification).
  • Proficient in the use of project management tools
  • Proven problem solving and decision making skills; ability to evaluate alternatives, develop innovative solutions, display proactive approach and initiative to resolve obstacles
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
  • Ability to work with little direction and supervision, manage timelines and expectations, adjust for unplanned assignments, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Significant experience and knowledge in SAP/MRP.
  • Knowledgeable and skilled in Excel (Macros, V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, etc.).
