We are looking for an experienced Program Manager who will lead the continued maturation of our Global Master Data Management (MDM) initiative. They will be responsible for refinement of the MDM value proposition to the organization as well as establishing and executing against a roadmap of continuous business value delivery. They will work directly with the Enterprise Data Management leader, other program managers, project sub-teams and business leaders across the enterprise to ensure successful progress is made against a comprehensive roadmap.  They will be responsible for managing and coordinating multiple project timelines including partnering with technology services on systems implementations, cross-functional business transformation efforts as well as M&A business integration. They will identify and define the strategies to integrate Master data with other operational systems to leverage the Master data more efficiently and effectively. An ideal candidate for the Program Manager is someone who possesses strong leadership, project management and problem solving skills, has the ability to work with diverse groups of people from within various departments and levels of the organization including executive leadership, and uses past experience and good judgment to deliver solutions that add exceptional business value.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain value proposition, strategy and associated roadmap for a robust MDM program

  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team and work with all aspects of the business and company to develop and drive the master data management strategy.

  • Enhance MDM practices and processes to deliver the mastered domains of Customer, Individual and Product

  • Serve as subject matter expert and technical point of contact for Customer, Individual and Product data

  • Develop, coordinate and maintain integrated MDM-related project timelines, schedules and communication plans

  • Collaborate with IT in the design and development of integration solutions that leverage MDM, including both operational and analytic use cases

  • Strive for the continuous improvement of procedures, tools, and metrics tied to business outcomes for the MDM team

  • Support key company programs related to MDM, data alignment, data migration and data quality

  • Partner with Data Quality and Data Governance programs to ensure accuracy of master data, appropriateness for intended usages and continuous improvement of Data Quality

  • Evaluate and review new approaches and technologies and their applicability to MDM

  • Lead the team on MDM-specific activities such as define the cleanse rules, match rules, survivorship, etc.

  • Ensure teamwork across Data Owners, Data Stewards, business SME’s and IT partners           

  • Provide partnership and influence through organizational change management efforts

  • Support special projects, as needed

  • Strong technology background and applicable technology skills related to data, master data management, data governance and associated platforms and technologies

  • Has a broad level of understanding surrounding information systems and application architecture standards.

  • Experience in leading project teams and streams.

  • BS/BA in Information Management, Computer/Information Science, Business Administration, or other related fields; or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of Master Data experience

Physical Demands and Work Environment 

  • Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.  

  • Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material. 

  • Duties may require working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).  

  • Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane, approximately 10% of the time may be spent traveling.
