This Field Applications Engineering role is for a specialist in mobile system design and leader to our customers who believe that accelerated mobile computing in the areas of M&E, professional visualization and photo-realistic graphics has the potential to transform industries.

NVIDIA is searching for an extraordinary FAE with a focus on embedded mobile system design for GPU workload in AI, graphic visualization and gaming. Your primary responsibilities will be the customer technical design in engagement for NVIDIA products targeted at mobile GPU computing. You will be working cross functionally with our organizations as well as ensuring a positive experience for external customers. You should be comfortable working in a multifaceted environment and have experience working with stand-alone and embedded systems. You will use your people skills and your technical knowledge to provide design-in support for our GPU products in customer systems. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently are essential. Experience with deep learning, rendering and networking is a plus, as well as the ability to pick up new technologies and skills.

What you'll be doing:


  • Be a technical specialist on GPU products directly supporting sales account managers, working closely with the team to secure design wins.


  • Actively establish the technical relationship with our customer's engineers, management, and architects at focus accounts.


  • Identify customer architectures and key product requirements in the gaming, professional visualization and mobile GPU computing markets.


  • Provide onsite support to solve problems in hardware and software.


  • Lead the support of the product through the design-in phase all the way to product end of life.


  • Create technical solutions such as hardware & software demos and example system designs.


  • Provide technical and sales training to sales team and partners.


  • Establish strong relationships and communication channels with internal teams.


What we need to see:


  • BS or MS in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).


  • 3+ years of related experience in a high-tech electronics industry in a system design role or technical customer support role.


  • Hardware design experience involving schematics, layout, power, thermal and mechanical design.


  • Capable of working in a constantly evolving environment without losing focus.


  • Drive technical issues across multiple cross functional teams.


  • Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


  • Strong time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives, priorities, and implementations of new technology and products into very complex projects.


  • Expert written and oral communication skills in English with the ability to effectively collaborate with management and engineering.


Ways to stand out from the crowd:


  • Experience with X86 and NVIDIA GPU architecture in mobile or embedded environment.


  • C/C++ and Python programming skills.


  • Embedded Linux System, APIs and similar embedded OS knowledge.


  • Microsoft Windows debug skills (driver, kernel) is a plus.


  • Hardware design and knowledge of PCIe, I2C, CSI/DSI, DP/eDP/HDMI, CAN, I2S, SPI, UART, USB, SATA.


  • Hands on experience in the setup, configuration of platforms including software and networking.


  • Experience in application workload profiling, tuning and benchmarking.


  • Background with Deep Learning, AI, gaming or professional visualization workloads in mobile environment.


  • Advanced degree
