Significant activities also include close collaboration with NVIDIA Sales, Research and Development, Architecture, and Program Management, enabling you to be a catalyst ensuring customer's dreams become a reality.

  • Pre-sales activities: identifying technical needs and new opportunities for existing Nvidia/Mellanox products and new designs through customer engagements.

  • Leading HPC and AI in-the-Cloud discussions at all levels both to internal teams and external Customer engagements.

  • Driving proof-of-concept initiatives, including network design and hands-on work with customers during product evaluations

  • Managing complete product delivery life cycle to customers: definition, design reviews, evaluations, deployments into production, and customer support transitions

  • Coordination of efforts with Research and Development and Product Marketing for new features and products

  • Keeping up-to-date on the competition, preparing and delivering technical training/presentations.

What we need to see:

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of infrastructure experience in High Performance Computing, Machine Learning, AI, or cloud -- as well as education, and/or background in:

  • Datacenter engineering, networking, or cloud application software development

  • Deep Industry understanding of issues surrounding HPC

  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and HPC fabrics such as IB.

  • Ethernet understanding a plus.

  • Understanding of how Cloud datacenters work

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • HPC/ML/AI/IB patents

  • Low-level software/hardware interface expertise

  • Extensive knowledge of server systems, including Linux and Windows operating systems, drivers, virtualization, NICs, firmware tools, PCIe, x86 and ARM hardware

  • Knowledge of how the Internet works
