If you are a warehouse supervisor professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our McAllen, Texas location, you will be resposible for daily planning and aligning customer orders with booking trucks and shipping. Daily assigments can vary from directing and leading the work of material handlers to interacting and fulfilling customer requirements. You will help the team achieve daily objectives and company goals.
 

AS A WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR, YOU WILL: 



  • Direct and lead warehouse leads and warehouse coordinators.

  • Serve as a communication link with the warehouse team, as well as train and motivate.

  • Run and communicate daily SHIP list reports for all customers, McAllen and Russellville locations.

  • Lead the finished goods shipping and receiving operation.

  • Expedite short finished goods from the plant and communicate potential shortages to customers.

  • Generate and publish daily shortage reports to the plants for rotors and stators, for McAllen and Russellville locations.

  • Create pick lists based the SHIP list on products ready to go to customers, McAllen and Russellville locations.

  • Ensure all loads have departed every morning and initiate communication with carrier/logistics analyst to get loads on the road.

  • Ensure proper/accurate documentation (BOL/packing lists/invoices) goes along with each one of the North/South/export-bound loads.

  • Ensure quality inspections are performed on all products shipped to customers.

  • Perform physical inventories weekly and ensure FG accuracy is maintained physically as well as in the Oracle system.

  • Ensure warehouse meets performance objectives.

  • Communicate FG customer requirements to the plant, process shipments, document and release loads (drop-ins).

  • Supervise and ensure proper Oracle system transactions are made on all incoming/outgoing product, raw materials, and MRO/tooling.

  • Balance the warehouse employee assignments/workload to ensure warehouse meets daily performance objectives.

  • Analyze and track key performance indicators.

  • Ensure warehouse resources are optimized and overtime is used only when necessary.

  • Coordinate and communicate customer drop-in orders in the system, and expedite shipment on those to meet customer demands.

  • Conduct safety/training/communication meetings with floor employees, as necessary, and log records of communication meetings.

  • Enforce ZERO accidents philosophy at all times.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • 3+ years of experience in shipping and receiving.

  • College degree in Business Administration, international trade, related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Able to operate a fork lift.

  • Ability to travel 0%-5% of the time.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
