Position Description Directs department production and maintenance by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
Coordinates production and maintenance in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures established by Company.
Develops plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and manpower.
Oversees all facets of department production.
Leads and directs department leaders.
Manages production costs and product quality.
Prepares department budget for presentation and maintains adherence once approved
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of department.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsible for initiating food safety action
Strong ability to make decisions independently, based on appropriate analysis of facts, records and data.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Effectively uses action plans and commitment date system to deliver results
Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
