Job Description:

This Cannabis Processing Cleaner position is responsible for executing their daily role within the Processing department at a highly productive and efficient pace to achieve the weekly objectives. This role is responsible for a variety of duties to clean and decontaminate equipment, supplies, and the spaces the Processing department operate in. This position must fulfill their role with efficient productivity and accuracy. The Cannabis Processing Cleaner role must participate in their job with professionalism and safety, consistently. The Cannabis Processing Cleaner reports to the Supervisor of Trim and Manager of Processing.

Essential Duties

Procedures & Tasks

Executing the cleaning and decontamination of the Processing department equipment, supplies, and operational area. Particular focus on cleaning the Trim Department equipment and surfaces.

Supporting the breakdown of machinery in the Processing department to deep clean equipment.
Operating the dishwasher and pressure washer to complete cleaning effectively.
Thorough deep clean of workstations and supplies for Processing operation.
Support the communication and secure transport of plants from the Production area to Trim room to Post Trim room.
Execute taking apart machinery and reassemble correctly consistently.
Custodian support of the Trim area utilizing cleaning products and tools to ensure decontamination of the space.
Clear understanding of workflow throughout the Trim department.

Take instructions and follow direction as delegated by leadership to meet daily and weekly, individual and team production and quality standards.

Execute the daily and weekly goals for harvesting plants in the Trim department. Processing the plants accordingly, separating bud material product, extraction material product, and unhealthy product consistently.
Properly use equipment and supplies to maintain its integrity and longevity.
Be prepared to execute tasks within the Processing department, along with assisting towards company and facility objectives.

Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity. Meet daily quotas.

Maintain a culture of professionalism.

Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to assisting other departments to help facilitate the additional and/or supplemental work, such as, Cure dept tasks, Packaging dept tasks, Farm dept tasks, cleaning, and light maintenance as needed throughout the facility.

Workspace and Material Maintenance

Supporting the Supervisor of Trim and Manager of Processing to maintain proper organization of the Trim room.

Ensure the organization and cleanliness of the Processing production area. Ensure organization and cleanliness of the work areas.
Participate with efficient productivity and teamwork when cleaning and organizing equipment and workspaces.

Contribute and show support to associates with a safe, well maintained, and organized work area.
After use of equipment or supply, follow through with cleaning and organizing SOPs.

Compliance and Reporting

Follow all instructed state and federal compliance regulations.
Report any improper action of compliance regulations.
Following instructed procedures will maintain compliance and safety. Any compliance or safety mistake or error created must be reported to the leadership of the department.


Works under the direct supervision of the Supervisor of Trim and Manager of Processing.

Job Requirement

This position is expected to perform duties at a highly productive and efficient pace, consistently.
This position will ensure cleanliness and decontamination using cleaning products on the Processing department supplies and equipment.

Working Conditions

Able to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing and warehouse environment. This position is part of a fast paced environment.
Working in proper PPE at all times of scheduled shift to sustain GMP model certification.
Able to kneel, bend, reach, rotate, and stoop on an intermittent to regular basis daily.
Able to lift and move up to 70 pounds occasionally.
Consistent on-time attendance for all scheduled shifts. Prepared for full 40 hour week working scheduled shifts with occasional overtime shifts to complete daily and weekly objectives.

Job Qualifications

Work Experience

Preferred 2 years professional cleaning or decontaminating experience.

One year of work experience in a related industry or work environment.
Experience working in a fast-paced production environment is preferred.
Demonstrates ability to consistently meet productivity and performance requirements.
Demonstrates high attention to detail.
Demonstrates professional and respectful demeanor towards others. Demonstrates respectful verbal and written communication capability.
Knowledge and background in cannabis manufacturing preferred.


High School Diploma or equivalent required.
