Whether it's just for recreation, learning to swim, or serious competition, the Y offers safe, healthy aquatics activities for kids of all ages and abilities. The Aquatics Administrative Assistant provides administration and program management support to Aquatics department.


Manage projects and databases for various areas as assigned.
Manage administration functions including accounting functions such as billings, registrations and maintain accounts.
Prepares and analyzes reports for management use.
Assist with calendars, sets up meetings and replies to email/voice and correspondence as directed.
Maintains, sorts, organizes and files
Coordinator of office, department supplies, inventory as assigned.
Assist with aquatics special events as assigned.
Meet position-specific requirements in the Annual Campaign plan.


Two years' experience providing administrative assistance support preferred.
Aquatics background preferred.
Knowledge or and/or expertise with computerized accounting systems and sound working knowledge of spreadsheets and work processing.
Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
Strong knowledge of office equipment and computer skills using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Ado and similar software.
Strong customer service and positive interpersonal skills required.
Demonstrated skills in planning, time management, flexibility, organization, and independent work proficiency.
Must be able to meet YMCA transportation requirements.

Physical Demands:

Continuous: sitting
Frequent: Reaching, bending, listening, walking, and standing, ascending/descending stairs
Occasional: lift and carry supplies weighing up to 10 lbs.
Rare: Twisting

Schedule Requirements:
This is a full-time position. Some nights and weekends will be required to meet the needs of the department.
