Based in our Bradenton, FL location, you will support the automation of life science manufacturing facilities around the globe. The Syncade MES product that our team supports helps many well-known pharmaceutical manufacturers automate their processes and meet regulatory requirements. A Syncade Product engineer has the ability to positively impact such endeavors as vaccine and life-saving drug manufacturing. Product engineering alumni are sought throughout the Emerson Life Science division, meaning opportunities for growth are abundant.
AS A SENIOR PRODUCT ENGINEER, YOU WILL:
Diagnose and troubleshoot customer issues in live production environments.
Own and drive customer communication in a professional manner.
Implement innovative techniques to optimize and reduce troubleshooting time.
Investigate and optimize system architecture related challenges on customer systems
Develop methods and gather technical data to reproduce customer issues
Create workaround solutions for software system issues.
Deploy solutions on live systems critical to customer business operations.
Understand and build virtualized IT infrastructure using VMWare or Hyper-V
Provide input to Technology on the requirements of future engineering tools, based on investigation of field issues.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
B.S. Chemical, Biomedical, Software or other related Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant MES experience (3yrs) in lieu of degree.
Experience (3+ years) working directly with customers to provide technical solutions, preferably with support experience related to troubleshooting software installations
Self-starting and unguided problem-solving ability
Effective communication skills, including the ability to manage complex troubleshooting sessions, draft clear and concise technical memoranda, and speak confidently in contemporaneous situations with our customers.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server with ability to understand database schema and read/write/understand SQL queries.
System administration/support experience in a Windows environment.
Solid understanding of Windows networking and active directory.
Experience in an enterprise network environment
Previous experience with Syncade or MES development, test, or implementation preferred.
