A reputable health system in New York is actively seeking a CONTRACT Mammography Technologist to join their team. 

The CONTRACT Mammography Technologist will work out of a 300+ bed hospital located in the suburbs of New York. This individual will work a Monday through Friday schedule, from 8:00am - 4:30pm. 

The CONTRACT Hospital Mammography Technologist will work in the Imaging Center alongside a dedicated team of specialized technologists. The CONTRACT Mammography Technologist will be specialized in breast imaging, administering x-rays and radiopaque substances, and performing radiography and mammography procedures using Digital Mammography (FFDM) and Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (3D Mammography). Responsibilities of the Hospital Mammography Technologist include preparing the room, equipment, medicine and materials required, disinfecting equipment and x-ray machines, maintaining supply stock, preparing chemical mixtures for mammography biopsies and exams, assisting with performance and quality control testing, adjusting equipment and identifying the proper technique and image quality prior to transmitting exams to PACS, and ensuring PACS and radiologists received all transferred images. Additionally, the INTERIM Mammography Technologist will adhere to department and hospital policy and procedures, cross collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and utilize the PACS system. 

The hospital is looking for an individual who is immediately available to start working as a CONTRACT Mammography Technologist. Requirements include

• ARRT Certification 


• New Jersey license (or able to obtain temp prior to starting)


• Prior Mammography Technologist experience
