Job Description:

Duties: Design, develop and deploy applications that are aligned with business and technology strategies and which meet the requirements of the business. Support existing applications by identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner. Participate in design refactoring and perform peer code reviews to ensure standards are met. Engage in application performance tuning and security remediation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Technology Lead, IT/Programmer Analyst, Software Developer or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree and three (3) years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience.

Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills and technologies: working with C++ on Unix platform; Tuxedo; C++ STL library; PL/SQL, Oracle10g/11g, stored procedures, Triggers, and SQL query optimization; socket programming; shell and perl scripting; Unix, Linux and Windows platform; using BOOST, OPENSSL, and XERCES Libraries; Black Duck; Multi-Threaded, multi-tier distributed systems that uses high availability and multiple data centers principles; maintaining and troubleshooting continuously available, high volume, mission critical, low latency systems.
