Job Description:

As a Card Strategic Analytics Associate you will support centralized reporting and data activities ensuring all Card Risk reporting aligns to the control standards

This will include:


  • Responsibility for ensuring execution of proper procedures and controls to ensure Card Risk has 100% QA Score and zero findings including timely package distribution, report validation, inventory management, and user access management
  • Support the Card Risk Reporting Portal (report distribution platform) managing user registration, user access, and engagement with Risk Architecture for UAT for portal releases
  • Support Data management activities using the Data Management Portal (DMP) for Card Risk Reporting developing an understanding of data sources and inputs for reporting, best practices for data and guidance for data documentation
  • Responsibility for reporting Inventory management to ensure metadata such as User Tools, UPD's and report details are updated and aligned between Card Risk Reporting Portal and report documentation to ensure consistency
  • Manage Certification for annual UPD, UT and Packages affirmations and 3x year affirmation for User Access to Card Risk reporting Portal
  • Raise tickets for report and data issues with IT, and work with IT teams to drive timely resolution and closure of tickets
  • Create and maintain periodic and ad hoc reports. Including ownership of the highly visible MIS deliverables such as Presidents Decks and Disney Portfolio Deck
  • Develop and maintain queries and programs for accessing and extracting data from one or more database systems
  • Driving efficiencies through end to end automation and process improvements (data, reporting tool, analysis)

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of consumer risk management and governance concepts
  • Ability to conduct sound analysis; taking high level management question and breaking it down into actionable components to shape analysis and point-of-view
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant business analysis experience
  • Preferably experience with SAS, advanced SQL(Teradata/Oracle/Other equivalent), Essbase, and BI Reporting Tools
  • Strong analytical skills, writing, and presentation skills
  • Card experience a plus
