The Digital and Client Solutions team, reporting to the J.P. Morgan Wealth Management CEO, develops industry-leading solutions that enable clients to live their lives with financial confidence through experiences across our chase.com web and mobile channels. The team is charged with creating a fully integrated, elegant and seamless end-to-end experience for clients across the Aspiring Affluent, Established, and High Net Worth client segments. We build the strategic vision and lead the development of product and solutions, including online brokerage and advice, digital solutions, lending and retirement products. Our objective is to create solutions that attract new clients, deepen existing relationships, increase scale, and benefit our customers.
USWM D&CS is seeking a motivated associate to join our Digital Client Onboarding and Account Opening team. The team defines the roadmap and executes deliverables focused on helping clients open new investment accounts on Chase.com or via the Chase mobile app, whether the client is working with investment Advisor or completing the application process on their own. The product team works closely with partners across design, technology, operations, controls, marketing, and other areas to expand and enhance the account opening experiences we support.
Develop understanding of wealth management business and identify opportunities to enable / improve the onboarding experience via digital channels.
Work with business leaders and senior product owners to establish a vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap, and translate that strategy into actionable deliverables with prioritized delivery.
Lead the product development lifecycle for initiatives and/or workstreams you own to meet business and client/stakeholder needs within defined delivery time frame.
Leverage user research and client feedback to transform the advisor/customer journey by following a user-centric, design-led approach to create impactful products and explore transformational ideas.
Define and document requirements for product updates, capturing business, technical, and control / regulatory details. Ensure epics and stories capture all necessary information.
Drive review and communication of requirements with appropriate partners to ensure goals are met, approach is understood, and agreement / sign off is captured when needed. Work with partners to address blocking issues/design challenges in requirements, and leverage data to support traceability back to business objectives.
Work with tech development partners daily to ensure output delivered meets expectations. Be the main decision maker in determining trade-offs, and serve as voice of the customer when reviewing quality of work.
Collaborate with QA and testing partners to deliver a functional end-to-end experience. Complete testing of enhancements as owner of changes. Drive the prioritization of any defects found and work with technology on the resolution.
Coordinate with delivery partners to establish approach and timeline to rollout new capabilities. Develop implementation project plans and collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to execute on them. This includes determining the scope of the rollout/launch, communications, support model, and key performance metrics.
Monitor ongoing health or success of products post-launch. Use web analytics, behavioral data and client feedback to continue to refine and improve the customer journey.
Set and manage team and partner expectations and day to day interaction. Lead project planning, meetings, and presentations as needed. Track project progress and report effectively on status, blockers and changes.
2-4 years of experience in project / program delivery (i.e., as a business analyst or workstream owner); experience in wealth management business a plus
Experience in digital product launch and lifecycle management, including familiarity with Agile/Scrum process, and user testing / release validations
Experience working with client designers and software engineers
Execution focused and able to organize, prioritize and manage multiple streams of work with varying timelines simultaneously
Proven ability to build effective partnerships and influence peers with diverse points of view across organizations
Ability to act independently, demonstrate leadership and take initiative but work equally well within a dynamic and fast paced team environment.
Strong verbal/written communication and presentations skills
Ability to think innovatively, and work creatively and analytically in a problem solving environment
