Internal Description

This role oversees a specialist staff that perform title research activities to support customer vehicle title needs by working directly with customers, dealers, vendors and municipalities. Responsible for driving specialist performance through coaching, training and effective communication. Execute on business strategies to reduce expense and improve employee and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities


  • Coach, train and develop staff to improve quality and performance
  • Monitor employee schedule conformance and production availability
  • Monitor work assigned to ensure processing within service level while meeting legal, compliance and risk requirements
  • Collaborate with others to identify and implement procedural changes
  • Follow the Lean Management & Operational System by practicing the recommended daily routine for team huddles, huddle boards, and focus on employee support
  • Deliver development plans and annual reviews for the team
  • Ensure adherence to operating procedures, legal and compliance regulations and risk policies
  • Resolve complex vehicle title issues by working directly with customers, dealers, vendors and municipalities

Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree preferred
  • 2+ years of leadership experience required
  • Must be customer focused
  • Ability to lead, build teams and motivate staff while fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Must practice the 5 Keys: Always be courteous and professional; Do the right thing; Build lasting relationships; Own customer issues start-to-finish; Exceed expectations
  • Proven ability to evaluate employee performance and provide coaching
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
  • Motivated, self-starter with a willingness to work flexible schedule based on business needs
  • Ability to partner with others within Chase as well as external
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving, delegation and decision-making skills
  • Strong organization, prioritization and time management skills
  • Demonstrate ability to understand, follow, and break down highly complex processes and procedures
  • Display a high sense of urgency
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent attendance and performance record
  • Intermediate level knowledge in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of Chase Auto business and systems is preferred
