Job Description:

The Digital & Platform Services Global Equities Operations Transformation team is responsible for the delivery of the Strategic End State Programs which drive scale, mitigate risk, and improve overall client experience. Equities Operations spans multiple business units including: Global Clearing, Equities Derivatives Group, Cash Equities, Prime Cash & Synthetic, and Stock Borrow Loan.

The Regulatory Reporting Team is part of the Global Clearing Team for Derivatives Clearing, covering both F&O and OTC Cleared Derivatives products. The team is responsible for managing all regulatory reporting requirements in EMEA and NA, as well as the implementation of changes driven by both internal and external Regulatory requirements globally.

We are seeking Vice President level candidates who be will be part of both the Transformation team and the NA Regulatory team responsible for

  • Global Clearing Strategic and Tactical projects
  • Global Clearing Regulatory Reporting requirements in NA
  • Transformation Responsibilities:

    Lead, manage, and drive execution of key projects across Global Equities Operations.


    • Activities supporting the governance infrastructure and protocols of the program.
    • Manage end-to-end delivery of projects/programs, partnering closely with teams across Operations, Technology, Sales & Trading, Data & Analytics, Legal & Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, and other corporate functions. This will include project planning and analysis, resource management, driving or overseeing project execution, and reporting of status to senior management
    • Conduct data collection, data analysis, and synthesis to develop recommendations for management or to inform management decisions
    • Leverage the latest digital tools and technologies to support development of scalable, leading-edge solutions
    • Design and documentation of organizational and operational processes to support program execution
    • Partner within the business and senior-level stakeholders to achieve stated goals
    • Lead problem solving and data driven decision making inclusive of process design, re-engineering, and target state modeling

    Regulatory Reporting Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for ongoing monitoring of existing controls and implementing new controls across various regulations. Provide transparency of metrics with a focus on actual regulatory risk
    • Leading remediation initiatives in partnership with technology team to address reporting data quality issues Governance / Monitoring on key Regulatory Metrics
    • Identify process, system and interface impacts, operating model changes resulting from regulatory initiatives working in partnership with key stakeholders e.g. business, technology, compliance, risk and finance as required
    • Improving reporting quality through various completeness and accuracy checks through centrally coordinated controls testing activities
    • Managing external regulator, internal audit and compliance queries, reviews and testing
    • Involvement in industry forums to influence and drive best practice
    • Managing multiple business, compliance and controls stakeholders within JPM, providing regular updates to senior managers within Markets Operations on controls status and issues

    Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's degree required
    • Several years of project management / business analysis experience required
    • Experience with Clearing products and lifecycle, including: Futures, Options, OTC Derivatives, margining and knowledge of industry regulations.
    • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentations skills targeting various stakeholders and senior management
    • Intermediate/Advanced experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Excellent analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyze complex business problems
    • Strong data analysis skills, including analysis of operational, process, and financial data
    • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail-oriented, and strong interpersonal and influencing skills
    • End-to-end project management experience, including scoping, business case development, implementation, results measurement, and change management
    • Ability to analyze and resolve project-related issues and follow through with set objectives
    • Experience with emerging technologies and the latest digital tools is a plus
    • Experience working with geographically distributed and culturally diverse workgroups
    • Ability to develop strong partnerships across lines of business to achieve goals
    • Proven ability to achieve quality results in a high-pressure, rapidly changing environment requiring flexibility / adaptability to changeable directives.
