Job Description:

CheckMatch is a new business JPM is building to make check payments more efficient. The CheckMatch application is being built on the Liink platform, which is the largest blockchain-based network of global banks in the world. CheckMatch, along with all of Liink, is part of the Onyx business unit of JPM's Wholesale Payments division.

We are seeking talented candidates for the role of CheckMatch Business Operations lead. This role will focus on all aspects of the operating the CheckMatch business to drive a delightful client experience. Key responsibilities will include defining and executing the end-to-end operating model in concert with Product and Technology, managing the business and operational aspects of check print vendor relationships, and partnering with Liink Operate (Tech Ops) to oversee efficient straight-through processing as well as handle exception scenarios and address client issues in Production. This role will report directly to the General Manager of CheckMatch.

The ideal candidate may bring the following types of experience:

  • Min. 5-10 years of experience working in financial services, ideally in Operations, Strategy, and/or Product Management
  • Self-starter; desire and ability to work in a start-up type environment nested within a large and complex firm
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate closely with Product, Technology, Business and other Operations stakeholders
  • Deep analytical and technical proficiency; ability to solve complex unstructured problems with the client in mind
