Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado
The Scrum Master Supervisor will be a servant leader for an Agile team. They facilitate discussions with these self-organizing teams and ensure that everyone agrees to the process that is being used by the team. Once the process is agreed to, they also ensure that process is being followed.
The Scrum Master Supervisor will also work with the Product Mangers to remove impediments and help the team be as productive as possible. Along these lines, they are also dedicated to relentless improvement to make the team as effective and efficient as possible.
In addition to running an Agile team of their own, the Scrum Master Supervisor will supervise other Scrum Masters in running their Agile Teams.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide Agile Team analysis and support. Prioritization with Scrum backlog to facilitate process re-engineering, create process diagrams, and ensure definition of project scope and requirements.

• Coordinate with other teams
• Supports proper estimation and flow of work
• Measures teams progress toward their goals
• Facilitates team commitments to improvements in quality, predictability, and flow
• Partnering with the product manager
Communication / Staff Management
• Provides feedback, guidance, mentoring, training, task management, resource forecasting, and leadership.
• Handle supervisory duties such as approving time off, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
• Conduct/Attend coaching session in conjunction with the Agile Coach.
• Works closely with the other areas of IT to ensure solution delivery.
• Resource management and collaboration.
Minimum Formal Education Required for this Position:
Knowledge consistent with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field of study.
Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of “Knowledge Consistent with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and 2+ years’ of accounting experience” could be substituted for a High School Diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a Master’s Degree in Accounting and 0 years of work experience
Minimum work experience:
4+ years’ experience working on an application development scrum team in some capacity
1+ years’ experience managing or leading Scrum Masters
1+ years’ experience with project management in a financial institution setting using Scrum methodologies. (preferred)
Technical or specialized knowledge/skills:
Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
Ability to adapt to a changing environment
Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction
Experience with successful Agile techniques
Possesses good understanding of various project management and business analysis methodologies, tools and techniques.
Possesses good understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including various development methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Agile, Scrum), and how to apply them for relevant projects.
Familiar with all IT functions and services with good working knowledge of more than one technology area. Able to come up to speed quickly in other areas of expertise relevant to the success of the project or program.
Understands simple architectural considerations, and factors them into decisions and recommendations.
Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of financial business and functions.
(Preferred) Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience and certification
(Preferred) Experience with Symitar.
Certified Scrum Master Supervisor (CSM)
Environmental, physical and psychological requirements:
Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time in a climate controlled environment. Must be able to use fingers, hands, wrists for repetitive tasks such as typing, using a mouse, and operating a telephone. Demands for visual and auditory acuity are typical of an office environment. Must be able to interact via email, telephone, or in person with diplomacy, tact, and courtesy with all members under varying circumstances. Must be able to handle stressful situations in a professional manner. Must be flexible with schedule to work overtime as needed based on demands of the membership. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Salary range for this position: $80,475.20 - $105,622.40 (IT-15) This position is eligible for an annual corporate bonus based upon performance
