The Technical Architect for our Salesforce Platform practice is a vital role in Lev's largest and most complex implementations. They are the consultant responsible for enterprise technical architecture for the Salesforce Platform. They design the integrations between Sales/Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Heroku, other marketing-related Salesforce solutions, and between third-party systems. This individual has a passion for a wide range of technologies that allows them to find sophisticated solutions to complex problems that are scalable while being transferable to internal or external team members for long term support.  

Their in-depth knowledge of data administration, APIs, and web development enables this individual to find the ideal platform to perform tasks and contribute to the development of custom applications on these systems. They are the ultimate consultant/architect, are not restricted by standard product functionality and navigate the need to create custom tools that complement current and upcoming standard product functionality with a customer's ability to support these tools ongoing.  In addition to their role in client engagements, the Technical Architect also strives to contribute to innovative tools to streamline the effectiveness of our team members. They will provide ad hoc support to our sales team and client escalations.


  • Act as key member of the Salesforce implementation project team and be responsible for the overall technical design of the application and mapping client business requirements to systems and technical requirements.

  • Work as a team member along with the Project Manager, Solution Architect, Developers, and supporting team members to deliver the complete solution for the customer.

  • Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign with the project team.

  • Share best practices and be consultative to clients throughout duration of the project.

  • Produce technical design documents to match customer requirements.

  • Produce technical design documents for custom development and systems integration requirements.

  • Provide current best practice and third party solution alternatives as part of the functional design document.

  • Participate and lead, when needed, project meetings with the customer.

  • Participate in internal projects as required.


  • Ability to travel to locations throughout the U.S. and Canada (up to 25% based on client needs).

  • Perform other duties required and assigned.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience

  • Full-stack development experience or database development experience

  • Experience with enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation and load (ETL) tools

  • Salesforce Certifications (Application Architect, System Architect, Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, DEV, or other SFDC certification all acceptable)


  • 5+ years of experience in consulting/professional services

  • 3+ years of experience with Sales/Service Cloud configurations and custom development

  • 2+ years of experience integrating Sales/Service Cloud with Salesforce Marketing Cloud 


  • Client engagement skills

  • Experience with Agile and SDLC project methodologies

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Self-starter who is able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to analyze, design, and/or optimize functional or technical requirements

  • Ability to handle confidential information

  • Strong technical aptitude and an ability to learn new technologies quickly

  • Ability to confidently lead client facing discussions and presentations with stakeholders from both technical and business backgrounds
