We will count on you to:

  • Partner with consultants and analysts to take ownership of daily tasks and be flexible and available to meet client deadlines

  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and arrange travel for the department to optimize work performance

  • Resolve administrative problems by analyzing information and identifying and communicating solutions

  • Process and/or coordinate completion of expense reports for consultants in a timely manner; assist with monthly client invoicing (WebCAS), code population, and maintain client marketing information in Salesforce

  • Adhere to best practices and expense control (i.e., travel rates, office supplies, catering, vendors, etc.)

  • Heavy document editing and formatting using PowerPoint, Excel & Word, while ensuring all documents produced adhere to Mercer's global identity/document standards

  • Provide peer review of documents before final production/distribution to ensure quality control of final product

  • Coordinate and oversee printing and shipping of client deliverables

  • Undertakes more complex administrative duties with specific projects as required

  • Provide training and assistance to other administrative staff in the department to facilitate employee development

What you need to have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in an administrative capacity

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; must be a self-starter, proactive, responsive, and resourceful

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; must handle sensitive information with professionalism and integrity

  • Detail oriented, high level of accuracy in work product and meet commitments

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
