The Compensation Consultant is central to our project teams. You will:
plan and manage execution of client projects, likely with multiple work streams
execute project delivery in line with strategic direction from senior consultants
draft client presentations
independently facilitate client meetings and act as a trusted advisor to clients
assist in providing consulting advice
formally and/or informally manage a team of analysts and Associates, providing feedback, technical review, and development
identify new business opportunities with clients and manage the proposal process

We will count on you to:
Prepare project charts and templates using project management tools, estimate hours for the project team, and prepare timelines for project milestones
Serve as an independent project manager for more straightforward projects or work streams
Ensure client projects adhere to budget
Immediately address out-of-scope issues or budget overruns and manage the client's expectations
Prioritize project activities to manage the workload and meet project deadlines
Delegate and leadproject tasks in line with individual capability, development needs, and available analyst and associate resources
Lead both internal and client project status meetings
Serve as a primary client contact and build relationships with clients
What you need to have:
At least 4 years' experience in broad-based rewards/compensation, ideally with a consulting firm
Deep analysis and reporting experience -- skilled in data manipulation and analysis using spreadsheet software, as well as developing written reports which summarize analysis and provide interpretation in the context of the challenge faced by the client
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, and coordination of people and resources.
Proven project management skills and creative problem-solving abilities
