Our Internship Program:

Our summer 2022 internship program is designed to give college students relevant work experience across specific functions of the organization. We offer 12 weeks of meaningful work in the areas of controlling, business finance or enterprise FP&A to refine your skills and experience while giving you exposure to multi-functional teams within a global manufacturing organization. This program is a key piece of Pentair's early careers talent program to ensure a strategic talent pipeline to meet the evolving needs of the organization now and into the future.

We Will:


  • Offer meaningful work and provide exposure to different facets of the finance function allowing you to develop invaluable skills and industry knowledge

  • Provide the opportunity to partner closely with the business unit finance team to conduct financial and operational analysis

  • Offer controlling assignments that will focus on monthly general ledger closing and account reconciliation, preparing monthly standard reports and analyzing expense accounts

  • Provide the opportunity to support enterprise FP&A functional leaders in understanding expense activity, maintaining score cards and analyzing financial data to help inform business decisions

  • Deliver on the job training and mentoring in Pentair's proven standard methodologies

  • Pay competitively

  • Offer a variety of professional development, social, and volunteer events to help you make valuable connections throughout the summer months

  • Provide the opportunity to deliver a professional presentation of your key findings to the Pentair leadership team with the potential for a full-time position upon graduation

You Must:


  • Be currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics from an accredited university

  • Be currently enrolled as a junior (preferred) or senior undergraduate

  • Have a 3.3 minimum cumulative GPA

  • Have a strong interest in pursuing the Engineering Leadership Development Program which requires annual relocation/working in locations throughout the United States upon graduation

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint with preferred experience using Tableau

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
