The primary purpose of the Core Clerk is to manage the incoming and outgoing dirty core inventory
Verify on a daily basis all credited dirty cores are accounted for either physically or as a pre-credited core.
Inspect all dirty cores for damage or non-returnable conditions.
Communicate with Parts Counter, Inventory Controller, or Parts Manager when dirty cores are missing or do not meet acceptable criteria.
Organize and control all dirty cores while holding for return to suppliers.
Prepare, pack and ship dirty core returns as allowed by suppliers.
Must keep up with all supplier's dirty core acceptance policies and procedures
Pull parts orders when work load demands
Performs additional duties as assigned
Should possess a High School diploma or equivalent
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
Motor Vehicle Record must meet guidelines
