Ultra has an opening for a Purchasing Coordinator! The Purchasing Coordinator will support the Purchasing department with government compliance, bid activity and other material management tasks, inclusive of placing purchase orders and annual surveys.
Job Description:
Processing and manage Engineering Material/Purchase Requisitions with suppliers.
Independently review all Purchase Orders over $10,000 to ensure the required documents have been obtained to meet government requirements and store electronically.
Procure and manage assigned commodities (commodity / parts to be determined).
Coordinate Non-Conforming Material Request for inter-company returns.
Maintain the RFQ (Request for Quote) email inbox.
Create bid templates for proposals and setup folders for data storage.
Assist with Government Audits, prepare files and run reports as needed.
Responsible for running monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as needed.
Maintain supplier certifications required by government regulations.
Track and record required training for buyers.
Resolves issues that arise with internal and external customers using independent thinking.
Report all government PO's over 30k monthly into the designated government site.
Record minutes from Purchasing meetings and track all department training.
Responsible for sending out annual supplier surveys, cyber security, government compliance and tooling surveys.
Negotiate price, payment terms and delivery schedules with suppliers
Responsible for staying in compliance with EEO, ADA and all other applicable governmental requirements the company is required to follow.

Required Skills:
Must have the ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance. Clearances are granted to US Citizens.
Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree with 1 or more years' experience in purchasing or related field
