Manufacturing Controller

Location: Lansdale, PA

The Manufacturing Controller Role:

We are looking for a Vehicle Aftermarket Manufacturing Controller. This is a full spectrum controller position touching reporting, business strategy and analysis, and covering the full value chain. The Manufacturing Controller is a key position supporting the manufacturing operation in cost control and driving continuous improvement in the processes that are cost related.

The Manufacturing Vehicle Aftermarket Controller will work with the Vehicle Aftermarket Business Unit. This business unit has the clear focus on the specific needs and developments in the Automotive and Heavy-Duty Aftermarket.

Responsibilities Include but are Not Limited to:


  • Partner of Kit Center Management to produce timely financial analysis and key performance indicators

  • Maintain a strong focus on logistic flows and costs.

  • Continuously analyze results and monitor variances, identify risks and opportunities.

  • Initiate proactive and corrective actions.

  • Responsible for Standard Cost according to company Policies.

  • Identify / initiate actions to improve FVC.

  • Preparation of accurate forecasts including in-depth analyses, identifying corrective actions.

  • Coordinate the annual planning process to ensure development of realistic plans to assure successful results.

  • Working capital management (focus on inventory and accounts payables) including capacity planning.

  • Support the sales organization as required regarding financial issues.

  • Provide XA (MAPICS) support including product file updates and maintenance.

  • Support Product line Management.

Required Experience:


  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or similar degree is required.

  • MBA or CPA/CM preferred but is not required.

  • Minimum five years of experience in a similar role required.

  • Experience developing and using Standard Cost.

  • Conversant with financial regulations and business practices.

  • Excellent command of PC skills and computerized accounting systems.

  • Prior knowledge of common financial standards and systems and of the business model.

  • XA (MAPICS), and DOH knowledge a plus.
