Job Summary:
Implement threat management strategies, standards, procedures and accountability policies at enterprise-level to prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce or other systems. Oversight and management of the Cyber Command Center or other Cyber Security domains. Lead efforts to operationalize security incident detection, response and remediation. Implement infrastructure security and monitoring solutions for applications and enterprise computing environment as well as responses to incidents. Work as an integral part of security management team, supporting business and technology, synchronizing communications and actions. Attract, coach/develop, retain and motivate a world-class security leadership team. Establish and maintain metrics that help provide a high level of productivity, supportability, and operational readiness while also participating in project planning activities.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree/equivalency in information technology, computer science or related field. Strong technical and consulting skills, project management capability. Experience with security and risk frameworks, standards and best practices. Seven (7) years' experience in an IT corporate environment with expertise in securing platforms and operating systems. Expertise in industry standard threat and vulnerability controls. Proven experience balancing business acumen and technical expertise. Excellent communication and human relation skills.

Job Specific Details:
The candidate will...

• Support the FedEx Global Cybersecurity Command and Response program to establish a strategically focused cyber threat intelligence organization to enable faster, more informed, data-backed security decisions and to change our behavior from reactive to proactive in the fight against threat actors.
  
  


• Drive our Threat Intelligence Program to a dynamic decision-making capability before/during/following intrusions, enabling improved detection of advanced threats, identifying relevant vulnerabilities as influenced by the threat, and bolstering overall risk management policies.
  
  


• Develop and nurture relationships with the FedEx Corporate Security and Aviation & Regulatory Security leadership and supporting teams.
  
  


• Engage in building a working partnership with DHS-CISA and related US Government agencies.
  
  


• Create buy-in and meet high demands of the InfoSec business capabilities by defending against real world threats influencing the build and use of sound analytics produced by our Enterprise Cyber Analytics Defense Ecosystem (ECADE).
  
  


• Understanding of Information Security principles (e.g.: NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), FIPS) and basics of Information Security policy, techniques and implications across computing platforms.
  
  


• Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  
  


• Ability to translate technical statements and explanations in business, easy to understand language for consumption by management and business users for incidents and escalations as well.
