Job Description

Responsible for supporting real estate closing transactions by performing complex, comprehensive review of subset of signed closing documents deemed critical to funding.  Utilizes working knowledge and expertise of mortgage loan documents, title/recording requirements of various counties nationwide, lender requirements to identify any post-closing issues and drive successful issue resolution as needed. Demonstrates basic technical aptitude and knowledge of systems and tools.  Accountable for effectively monitoring a pipeline of loans to meet lender requirements and SLAs with accuracy, efficiency and professionalism. 

 


  • Monitors a pipeline of loans to ensure critical documents are received and reviewed timely for disbursement

  • Completes complex compliance review to confirm all critical to disbursement documents are executed accurately by the signer(s) and notary, all funds are collected, and any other Title or Lender requirements are met

  • Owns resolution of complex defects identified during the compliance review and engages appropriate parties including fulfillment partners, borrowers, notaries and underwriting in effort to drive resolution for customer, agency and client

  • Communicates with local offices, notaries and signing providers regarding timely receipt of signed documents

  • Provide loan status updates to internal and external parties

  • Follows guidelines to complete daily pipeline management routines required to meet lender SLAs

  • Delivers accurate and error free product to customers

  • Performs other duties as assigned by management

  • Uses basic communication skills and common courtesy
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's preferred
  • Typically requires 0-2 years of related work experience
