This is a vital role within the Marketing Department which includes managing many key functions such as Brand Content Management, Sales Agency Engagement and Support, Monthly Business Review, Forecasting, Pricing, Product Management, Lead SKU Rationalization projects, Product Commercialization, New Product Innovation and E-Commerce Business Management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Brand Content Management:

  1. Create, Update and Revise all Branded Sales Support Tools and Brochures

  2. Work with Fulfilment Company to ensure ample stock is on hand

  3. Ensure all branded materials are posted on the Marketing Media Library

  4. Manage all Website branded content at customculinary.com

  • Sales Agency Engagement & Support:

    1. Review Sales Agency Media Library on a Quarterly Bases to ensure most recent and active content is posted

    2. Manage content and communication flow with Sales Agency – Sales and Marketing Teams

    3. Develop and communicate Sales Support Tools for Quarterly Drive or Focus periods (4X)

    4. Ensure that Custom Culinary® BDM’s has all the tools and support they need for educating and training our Sales Agency Sales Team on the Branded portfolio

    5. Analyze and synthesize Sales Agency Sales Call Data via Tableau Monthly

    6. Other Activities as assigned

  • Monthly Business Review Support:

    1. Pull and summarize Brand Sales Data from internal financial reporting system every month

    2. Review data with Brand Director and discuss key insights and trends and pull additional information as required

  • Monthly Forecast Review & Update:

    1. Track, forecast and analyze SKU level performance to ensure continual alignment between business and P&L goals

    2. Attend Monthly Forecast Meetings

    3. Update Brand product forecast monthly

    4. Conduct and annual forecast review and provide recommended plan forecast

  • Pricing Management:

    1. Manage Branded Price List and all updates

    2. Oversee customer Pricing Request from the Sales Team

    3. Review/ Approve customer deals in Blacksmith

    4. Recommend strategic pricing changes and updates

    5. Support Branded Price Increase activity as needed

  • SKU Rationalization:

    1. Lead and provide final sku assortment recommendation

    2. Conduct ROI analysis

  • Brand Label Management:

    1. Lead the process flow of all new and updated Branded Product Labels

    2. Utilize ProofHQ to manage and track all Brand label changes and updates

    3. Work closely with R&D and Regulatory to support and mange label process

  • Brand Innovation Support:

    1. Support Brand Director with New Product Innovation and Line Extensions

    2. Work as part of the development and commercialization teams

    3. Develop sales tools and brochures to support new product launches

    4. Manage communication with Custom Culinary® Sales and Sales Agency

    5. Develop labels and packaging for all new items

  • E-Commerce Business Management:

    1. Develop E-Commerce 1 to 3 year strategic business plan and execute

    2. Review Orders Daily to ensure order fulfilment is accurate and timely

    3. Address any store issues that come up with Miron

    4. Create Monthly Business reports for Finance

    5. Develop E-Commerce Communication Strategy and Plan

    6. Update Store Content and products as needed

  • Sample Program Management:

    1. Manage all aspects of the Dot Sample Program

    2. Audit Sample Program and recommend improvements to the program

    3. Run Key Sample Report each week

    4. Ensure entire sales team is properly aligned on the Dot system for e-mail confirmations

    5. Review billing for accuracy

    6. Manage active sample item list

    7. Manage sales team access parameters

    8. Set up new sample items at Dot

    • Responsible for working closely with our Sales Agency contacts, external vendors such as Ad Agency, Fulfillment Agency, Printing vendors etc., and will have customer interaction via National and Local Food Show events and activities.

    Requirements:


    • Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Marketing or Business Adminitration.

    • MBA or activly enrolled in a MBA acredited program.

    • Minimum 4 years of work/internship experience in brand marketing or related field.

    • Strong analytical skills with advanced knowledge of Excel or other Spreadsheet software.

    • Familiar with using various creative software to develop presentations and enhance existing communication tools.

    • Ability to creatively use the Internet for performing market research.

    • Ability to prioritize multiple projects, initiatives, and resources and deliver on time and effectively.

    • Ability to analyze data (Financial & Market Research) and make business recommendations.
