Job Summary:



The Rotor Balancer performs the procedural tasks involved in loading rotors onto the balancing machine and running the balancing program to ensure that the rotors are perfectly balanced for installation on Fecon's high quality Bull Hog.



Job Duties/Responsibilities:



Safely loads rotor onto balancer.


Runs the balancing program and welds appropriate weights onto rotor as required.


Ensure rotors are precisely balanced before pulling them off stand.


Assures weights are welded properly and aesthetically as possible.


Performs other related duties as assigned.



Required Skills/Abilities:



Mechanical ability a must - some experience with mechanical assemblies.


Ability to understand methods sheets and documented work instructions.


Work from a schedule and records assembly data.


Willingness to work as a team.


Flexibility in performing any shop tasks required.


Quality driven.


Basic weld skills preferred.



Education and Experience:


H.S graduate or equivalent - Technical school a plus.


2 years weld experience is preferred (Not mandatory).



Physical Requirements:



Ability to safely lift 75 pounds.


Uses overhead cranes and jib cranes.


Most work performed standing at floor level.

• This is a first shift position. Hours for this position are 5:30a - 4:00p, Monday-Thursday. Some overtime is required.
