Overview
Applications are being accepted for a full-time Financial Aid Representative, West Bend Campus. This position will provide administrative support and technical assistance for the Financial Aid Office functions on the West Bend campus.
Applications will be accepted until the position is filled; however, initial review of applicants will take place August 17, 2021.
Beginning: Immediately
Responsibilities1. Inform students of available financial aid resources, assist students to make application and to complete required documentation, and provide financial aid information to resolve customer service problems.2. Assist with verification of financial aid award data and input data into ERP. Receive and process incoming mail in ERP.3. Prepare documents for scanning and set up, adjust, and operate electronic imaging and media equipment. Scan, index, and retrieve files.4. Respond to requests for information from agencies providing financial assistance or special funding to students. Conduct financial aid presentations.5. Provide technical assistance in the daily operations of on-campus and district Financial Aid programs. Recommend process improvements to increase office efficiency.6. Assist with recruitment and coordination of work study positions on the West Bend campus. 7. Work with other Financial Aid staff members to develop, recommend, and implement procedural changes for required financial aid letters and forms. 8. Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications1. Associates Degree in a related field.2. Two years of experience in a related field. 3. Any combination of equivalent training and experience which provides desired knowledge, skills and abilities. 4. Thorough knowledge of office practices, procedures, terminology and equipment. 5. Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office, database systems, spreadsheets, and relational software.6. Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.7. Ability to plan, organize and schedule priorities effectively.8. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, students and outside agencies.9. Strong written and oral communication skills including the ability to conduct presentations.10. Proficiency in business math. Ability to maintain accurate and complete records.11. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations by promoting and maintaining an inclusive work environment and culture that is respectful and accepting of diversity.
