Responsible for managing medium to high complexity projects from ideation to evaluation to drive growth at Beam Suntory
Collaborate with a diverse network or leaders across the organization to commercialize products
As part of the Global R&D Team, ability to provide input and influence overall global process improvements
Role Responsibilities
Develops timelines and identifies critical path milestones utilizing a project management system to plan and track medium to high complexity projects from ideation to post launch evaluation
Coordinates project input from multiple cross functional internal and external partners through project status calls to ensure project is on track and/or escalate if delayed
Schedules, leads, and publishes agenda and follow up action items for project status meetings
Works with analytics team to develop program scorecard dashboards and identifies gaps and guides final decision making with cross functional leaders
Provides timely updates in project management system to ensure all team members have visibility and access to the most up to date information
Assures accuracy of gate documents, P&L, risks, and Gantt chart for each project throughout the stage gate process through post launch evaluation
Active role during preparation for and at stage gate meetings and ensures project adherence to gate principles
Continuous improvement mindset to drive process and system improvements that enable efficient ways of working
Demonstrates a strong understanding of the business and interdependencies between projects
Participates in team building within Global R&D, broader Beam Suntory initiatives, and external seminars for engagement and development
Consistent and clear communication appropriate for a broad range of levels from entry level to executives
Qualifications & Experience
Education - Bachelor's degree Project Management, or business-related field
Certifications/Licensure- Six Sigma & Project Management Certifications desired
Years of experience- Ideal candidate has 5 plus years previous experience in Project Management
Level of experience- Demonstrated success in Project Management roles and influence with cross functional teams in an ever-evolving environment.
Industry experience- Spirits and or food industry experience a plus
Travel % - 10-15% within the United States
