We have an exceptional senior-level role (Head of Institutional Sales for FuturePlan ) to lead a team in identifying, managing, and expanding relationships and strategic alliances with recordkeeping and retirement advisory firms. In addition, this role will: represent all of FuturePlan, including all product and service offerings; be responsible for creating tailored solutions that meet partner and client needs; work with all internal partners to create and manage all new tailored solutions to ensure they are effective, efficient and value added; and be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy for growth with new and existing partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate is expected to:

* Establishes professional relationships with our current and prospective partners

* Shares information between FuturePlan and our current and prospective partners

* Educate partners on all product and service offerings; ensure all are up to date on the offerings

* Develop execution plans for growth opportunities

* Assess and deliver on partner needs and expectations

* Partners with S&O Leadership to identify, drive and ensure effective and efficient service delivery.

* Advocates and represents partners and clients when working internally to create and enhance products and services.

* Drives adoption of FuturePlan products and services

* Ensures high partner and client satisfaction

* Understands marketplace trends, ensures FuturePlan is appropriately positioned

* Collaborate with President of FuturePlan, Head of Sales FuturePlan, and finance to set overall pricing strategy across new and existing business.

* Act as a lead industry influencer with prospects, partners, internal team members and other centers of influence.

* Contribute to the development and tracking of pipeline opportunities.

* Coordinate with the Product team and lead the ideation, vetting, development, and prioritization of systems and product enhancements to expand opportunity set.

* Leadership of cross-functional deal teams consisting of dedicated and matrix resources in pursuit of new business opportunities.

* Maintain a strong knowledge of key competitors with the ability to highlight our unique advantages and develop central repository for competitive and market intelligence.

* Partner with marketing to develop communication campaigns to build awareness and understanding of our product and service offerings to build our brand and create field activity.

* Identify potential markets and advisors for greater share of wallet

* Monitor and report progress to the plan to all interested groups, including executive leadership

* Consider participation rates and penetration of new products/ features in business plan to increase plan retention and revenue

* Responsible for protecting, securing and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients

* Demonstrates I, Client service philosophy and our Core Values of People Matter, Quality First, and Integrity Always in all actions on a daily basis to support our organizational culture.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience

* 8-10 years' experience in the TPA industry

* The candidate will need to have sales/marketing, leadership skills and, importantly, a deep understanding of all the technical aspects of the business, an ERISA expert

* Need to know how recordkeeping and TPA systems interact and how wholesalers, advisors, TPAs and Sales Consultant and plan sponsors interact and the all the important dynamics of this ecosystem

* Excellent leadership skill and demonstrated ability to influence decision makers

* Demonstrated understanding of selling concepts and practices

* Ability to travel 50-75% of time

* Comprehensive knowledge of our product offerings

* Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills

* Ability to work well under pressure with multiple priorities and deadlines

* Able to effectively render sound advice and judgment within company guidelines and ERISA rules

* Mastery of CRM

* Excellent ability to manage pipeline information and reports, data, and insights of a sales territory

* Proven ability to generate revenue and drive sales growth

* Possess a strong understanding of the Consultative Selling Process

* Possess effective leadership skills and ability to motivate, inspire and command the respect of direct reports.

* Strong presentation and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.

* High standards for accuracy and work quality and effective conflict resolution skills.

* Strong business acumen and the ability to influence and support the development of associates across FuturePlan and Ascensus.

* Exhibit the sales skills required to lead by example.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong negotiation skills.

* Must have computer literacy (i.e., spreadsheets, word processing, PowerPoint).
