Sr. Analyst, Financial Analysis at Inmar, Inc.

Job Description:

Financial Analyst performs as an integral member of the Inmar Finance Team. The primary focus of the position will be to perform financial analysis and metric based reporting that provides actionable analysis to drive higher returns. The Analyst will partner with Sales, Client Services, Accounting and other operational groups to support pricing decisions for sales and renewals of existing services and new products. As a result of established processes and business knowledge, Analyst is expected to provide meaningful suggestions to enhance profitability and process efficiencies.

Major Job Responsibilities



  • Participate in monthly financial close


    Create client level revenue and cost of delivery analysis to support client profitability


    Partner with accounting team on month-end close processes including reconciling transactional data and correcting as applicable


    Provides analysis to compare actual results with plans and forecasts




  • Provide insightful metric based reporting and analysis while maintaining transactional processes and records to ensure validity of complex transactions


    Provides analysis to compare actual results with plans and forecasts


    Improves financial results by monitoring variances, identifying trends; recommending actions to management


    Develop dashboards with KPI’s




  • Assist with preparing annual budgets and forecast including:


    Data pulls, modeling, detailed calculations, and loading of quarterly and annual budget numbers into financial systems in time to meet deadlines


    Prepare budget presentations to communicate key assumptions and forecasts with Business Unit leaders and Corporate Accounting


    Provide weekly forecasts for applicable lines of business’s




  • Participate in new sales and client renewals


    Monitor sales pipeline and contractual provisions of existing contracts to ensure clauses with financial terms such as: minimum fees, milestone billing, discounts, prepaid, etc.  



  • Assist with Sales and Marketing reporting by inputting finance approval, revenue estimates, and other key contract terms in Salesforce


  • Provide client or target profitability analyses, pricing scenarios, and other trend information to help the group.

Knowledge of:


  • US GAAP, Finance and accounting at an advanced level


  • Model creation and scenario assumption techniques


  • Advanced level proficiency using Microsoft Excel


  • Intermediate level proficiency using Microsoft suite of products including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint


  • Self-motivated with demonstrated high maturity level


  • Strong work ethic


  • Strong oral and written communication skills requiring tact and professional assertiveness


  • Demonstrated ability to relate well to others and promote a positive demeanor


  • Regarded by others as someone who can solve problems within the work structure


  • Comfortable working in a team environment


Education


  • BS/BA required with major in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred


  • OR an equivalent combination of training and experience.


  • Preferred 2 to 5 years of experience
