PRS Vendor Relationship Manager at Chubb

The position is responsible for vendor management activities related to all PRS client service vendors in North America. The Vendor Relationship Manager position will provide full lifecycle vendor management support in partnership with internal business stakeholders and key internal support partners. The objective is to maximize the performance of vendor relationships through the establishment of rigorous metrics and service standards while driving the optimum client experience for PRS clients- with a specific focus on our target partner vendors.


  • Strengthen and build relationships with the vendor network. Build vendor communication plans to engage and build the network.

  • Own the vendor management function, establish, initiate, and follow through on a vendor     management plan.

  • Perform as the functional bridge amongst external vendors and internal stakeholders.

  • Maintenance and updates of the Chubb Trusted Network database, referral agreement renewals, TPDD clearance, AOC documentation and agreement execution.

  • Maintenance and updates of the Services tab of the NA Resource Center and Client Services/Risk Consulting Village Page.

  • Track, measure, report and evaluate vendor performance. Identify performance opportunities and recommend improvement solutions.

  • Troubleshoot all vendor problems and escalations and present to management as required.

  • Identify, implement, and continuously enhance efficiencies associated with vendor management.

  • Formulate workflow processes, methods, and policies for the entire PRS vendor management process.

  • Effectively support, communicate, and train new service initiatives by developing and standardizing workflows including job aids and training programs to support the effective field adoption of services and initiatives.

  • Monitor and manage contractual agreements for all PRS Chubb Trusted Network Vendors.

  • Identify prospective vendors through networks, referrals, and research.

  • Identify service enhancement opportunities with existing vendors.

  • Study the competitive landscape and propose proactive vendor solutions in response to critical requirements and recommendations.

 

The preferred candidate brings a high level of technical experience in vendor management and process improvement. The candidate will need to be able to look at the current use of PRS vendors and develop future state utilization and continued process improvement in collaboration with the Risk Management team and PRS to maximize the benefits of engaging vendors. The key focus will be to balance cost, quality and service, drive performance and client satisfaction. As the role will work closely with multiple business units within PRS, strong interpersonal and collaboration skills will be critical. The ideal candidate will seek creative and innovative solutions with a positive approach to escalations and challenges.

 


  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Minimum 5 years' experience working with customers in a consulting and/or support capacity

  • Ability to re-direct personal efforts in response to changing circumstances.

  • Working knowledge of insurance products, portfolio analytics, and risk management preferred

  • Consistent track record of deploying complex solutions

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Able to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams dealing with technical topics.

  • Data and Analytics - ability to set up dashboards, analyze, build graphs and tables to present

findings.
